Father and Son

I really wanted to add a little turtle next to my Splinter art I did a month ago or so. After a sleepless night I finally was able to bring it to life!

I am going to take this one to the New York Comic Con and see how it does. I really wanted to do all 4 turtles but the more i thought about it, the more I like the idea of a non-specific turtle training with his father. I opted for the classic red traditional color bandana like the comics too.

Hamato Yoshi...The Splinter

This was a really fun drawing I got to do after free flowing sketching on a note pad. With Splinter here, I started to do a traditional lined drawing but I wanted to test myself and relied on colors only to bring this to life. The TMNT are my favorite characters of all time and I wanted to something fun in time of the new movie and the new surge of interested in the turtles.

Here is Hamato Yoshi in his prime. I hope to have this be part of a bigger piece in time for the New York Comic Con in Oct 2014.
