Update #6 Laura, Leroy and Johnny Yu!!

Penciled away last night. I like keeping the pace on a nightly basis of doing these until i get losts of and lots of em. I really admire Tyler Stout and want to make my own poster in his style as an homage of sorts. I just love the amount of detail he puts in his work. Enjoy! :-)

This one might change. but here's my pencils for Leroy which will be the focus point of the poster. i think i might need a new position/stance to draw up. not easy getting good Taimak ref images for some reason. but here it is :-)

man, I will never get tired of drawing SHo nuff. probably one of my favorite people to draw because of his crazy expressions and ridiculous outfits. man o man i had fun drawing this one. its coming along with these pencils :-)

update on Last Dragon poster...Laura Charles/Brother

Penciling away at another section of the poster. This might change but Here's Laura Charles and Leroy's Brother towards the end of the film. dunno, sorta like highlighting the action/danger part of the film. we will see if i end up using it :-)

Beginning my Last Dragon poster

I've contemplated doing this for a very long time now. Berry Gordy's the Last Dragon has always been one of my favorite movies and I've often felt that it never got the awesome poster it deserved. When the film came out, it used a very weird and confusing poster that till this day urks me.

Well hopefully, with a little luck and time, I will be creating my own poster in the vain of the classic kung fu movies of the 70's etc. Here's my first layout piece and the original monstrosity used for the film below.




( I can't tell if this movie takes place in space or a record store) lol.

It's always been my own tradition to draw a mini comic of sorts for Halloween. Last year it came out very well and thought I'd follow the same route.

this particular story was inspired by a true story a friend recently told me. hope you guys like it!!

really trying to get the painting down on this sketch. didnt bother to ink it and just color over the pencils. it looks too messy i think. but the action is there.. i def have to work on coloring a lot more.

Been doing some character design for a book i hope to put together one day. Just a random sketch of things i think about, not sure about the look just yet, but i saw this in my head and had to mark it up to see what it would look like. gonna have to flesh it out soon.
