Never Give Up, Never Surrender Damn it!
This is a fun one i drew the other night. It is for a submission to the great blog "planet pulp! (http://www.planet-pulp.com/). Check it out for awesome pop culture art from around the globe! This is for a Stan Winston inspired run and I couldn't think of a more fun one to draw than Galaxy quest!
I tried to capture all the best personalities of the characters that I remembered. They were all so great in this film, and I just laughed drawing these guys at their worst? lol i hope you guys like it!

I hate zombies
Halloween so close you can smell it!!
The only thing that scares me are zombies. nothing fancy, but they terrify me. I have told all my friends that should they turn into a zombie, I would end them in seconds. LOL, here's a quick little drawing of one these little bastards in the digital flesh.
they always have the weird stare. yikes!

Beware...The Gray Ghost!!! Batman Animated
I drew this a while ago, always loved the Batman Animated Series growing up. One episode in particular comes to mind, where Batman meets one of his childhood idols, the Gray Ghost. In a scene, the camera pans to his collection of memorabilia and you can see a poster of "The Gray Ghost" on the wall.
I loved the idea of Batman having his own nerdy collection of the Gray ghost, someone he admired in his childhood, inside the batcave. It's only seen for i think 2 seconds, but it was very well done in the animation and I thought it would be neat to have as a print to give Mr Conroy as a present. Im going to bring some to NYCC and hopefully get Kevin Conroy sign it for me. Hope you all like it.
* done in digital watercolors to give it that animated style painted look. :-)
EDIT*
Happy to report I was able to give one of these prints to Kevin Conroy to keep at a panel at the NYCC. I was so glad he mentioned the character earlier in the panel, and he seemed surprised to see the drawing after the panel of the gray ghost. really really nice guy. I was happy so much fun and I was able to get my personal copy signed.

It's ShowTime!!!...Beetlejuice Poster!!!
Tada.....
lol, Here is my latest "maurolyzed" (see, i made that word totally up) style poster for the Tim Burton Film, Beetlejuice. I borrowed elements very much in the vein of my last Dragon style poster. I recently re-watched this film on blu ray and loved the memories i had as a kid watching this. I wanted to try my hand at a new edgy poster for it, and here she is.
I really wanted to capture my favorite moments and characters from the film and hope i did it justice. For those asking, I spelled the name like that on purposed since that's how it was spelled in the film. Remember, don't say his name!!!
*in the film, it was misspelled on purpose i think, so you couldn't really pronounce his real name correctly. GENIUS!!
Want it on a shirt or a sticker?? check it out here :-) thanks!!
